Music forum Gurgl
Music & Nature
Nesling at almost 2,000 meters above sea level at the rear end of picturesque Ötztal Valley, unique Music Forum Gurgl has offered the best of both worlds for around 40 years.
Orchestra
The 2026 Orchestra Week offers musicians a highly inspiring environment to develop and publicly perform a varied concert program together with professional instructors. In addition to intensive rehearsal sessions - both in individual vocal ranges and as a full orchestra - there will be abundant opportunity to explore the breathtaking mountain scenery in the surroundings of Gurgl by taking part in the wide-ranging side and activity program.
Those who even wish to deepen their own musical development are also recommended to book the Chamber Music Module. The music pieces rehearsed there may be part of the final concert. The mentioned course is open to already existing ensembles as well as musicians who would like to form new chamber music groups on site.
Music Forum Gurgl is aimed at everyone who enjoys making music together and can play an instrument very well, having enough experience and skill. Prior experience in orchestral or chamber music is not required as the focus is on musical collaboration and a shared passion for music.
Orchestra Module
An exciting orchestra music week awaits you! The daily schedule comprises full orchestra rehearsals, vocal range training and/or small group rehearsals. At the same time, participants will have plenty of free time at their own disposal. Countless splendid hiking trails, e-bike routes and other leisure activities promise nature exploration directly from the accommodation. Those who prefer to use their free time for individual practice or listen to chamber music lessons given by other participants are warmly welcome to do so.
To conclude the week, the orchestra will present a festive public concert for the audience at Gurgl Carat.
Orchestra & Chamber Music Module
Make the most of your time at Music Forum Gurgl! In addition to orchestra activities, chamber musicians can also benefit from intensive lessons and focused rehearsals. The supplementary chamber music module offers a great opportunity to work musically with an already existing ensemble or a newly formed group in Gurgl.
